Miguel and Olga are parents to 7 and grandparents to 2. They both own Cuenta Conmigo “Count on Me”, a multi-service business that offers accounting, tax preparation and insurance. Olga is the youngest of 15 and the daughter of a migrant working family. She was born and raised in Diamond Hill and has a great passion for serving people throughout our community.
She sits on several boards including:
FWISD Education Foundation
Victim’s Crime Council
Olga has been nominated Hispanic Hero by Telemundo for her passion in serving the community. She has an associates in Accounting from Tarrant County Junior College and a BS in Criminal Justice from Texas Christian University. She currently speaks to students at TCU about her role in the community as well as to AVID children from Paschal while they tour her Alma Mater.
“I was born into a giving family, even though my mother had such a large family to feed, she always took several bags of groceries to our church on Sunday’s to bless those in need.” Our original goal in 2011 was to bless 50 children through an Education Expo and 538 showed up. The message was clear, the community was in great need. After just 4 years, we have been able to serve over 12k children through our Back to School Bash (by providing school supplies and backpacks) and Christmas event which gives toys to those in need.
The duo brings together the dynamics of fundraising, outreach, sharing love and goods through their passion of giving to those in need. Bridging opportunities from suburbia to inner city is our greatest passion.
Columba is the eldest daughter of seven siblings, born into a giving and serving family and daughter of Olga Naranjo, founder of Hispano Exito.
Columba became a mother at age 16 and married her high school sweetheart, she is currently a student at The University of Texas at Arlington with a major in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. She strives on a daily basis to make an impact in someone else's life, with a simple smile or by sharing hugs with others.
She loves to travel and open opportunities to those in need. Her passion is to serve and coordinate outreach events locally and internationally throughout Honduras and Mexico, and through Hispano Exito she has been able to serve thousands love, smiles and joy as a tireless volunteer that lives to share hope with everyone she encounters.
